The Immortal's Legacy (Book 6)
As they say, everything happens for a reason.

So why has Kristian been turned into a human?

After an emotional talk with his sister Veronica, Kristian decides he wants to do something all ancient vampires yearned for—have a child.
Even though he and Tessa’s relationship had been nothing less than rocky, he knew that if he were to have a child with anyone, it needed to be her. Despite all they had gone through, he loved Tessa and wanted a child born into love. However, there was the obvious dilemma that Tessa was human.

Wagering with Benjamin for his freedom, they call on his help to find Calder witches that would be able to turn Tessa human so that they could have a child. When they meet with the witches, they are heeded with many warnings: it was too dangerous for Tessa to carry the child herself, the child would have to be carried by a witch, and like all things, there was a price to pay. Tessa would be cursed from turning human, and the curse would follow their child, and their children to come.

With heavy hearts, they proceed, recruiting Calla to be their surrogate, with the promise that she and Jared could have a child after they did. Taking all the safety precautions possible, Calla and Jared retreat to the Rocky Mountains, far away from newborn vampires as well as the Calder, and the witches who assisted are kept under close watch. For months, things go perfectly.

The family is agleam with excitement for their new addition, soon to come. When suddenly, Calla goes into premature labor. The family scrambles to help—however, the witches who helped, are nowhere to be found. Panic is instantaneous. Everything is in balance.

Finding the witches could mean life and death for them all.

The Immortal's Destiny (Book 7)

Emotions are high in the vampire family as they once again return to life on the run.

With Abigail now in power of the Calder clan, they appear more organized, disciplined, and deadlier than ever.

While Jared and Calla are mourning the child they never got to have, and the rest of the family racked with guilt over the fact, they all agree that their main priority is protecting Mira.

Morgan and Veronica come to the conclusion that the best way to protect the family, would be to separate them into groups: scouts, recruitment, and a core group to protect Mira. When it comes time to separate everyone, however, Morgan doesn’t have the heart to ask Jared to lead recruitment, knowing all he and Calla had just been through, and faces Veronica’s wrath in order to oversee it himself.

Migrating to new locations every couple of days to keep the Calder off their back, the family struggles to find any sense of normalcy. Kristian and Tessa crave stability to raise their daughter, the realization of the turbulent environment they had brought Mira into. They still wouldn’t change it for the world—their only hope is that their problem with the Calder soon resolves. However, nothing with their family could ever be so simple.

The Immortal's Decision (Book 8)
The Final Installment Of The Vampire Prophecies!

The tension was thick like a city smog.

The news that the Firehaven wouldn’t be helping with handling the Calder wasn’t sitting well with Veronica or any of the others, despite Calla’s earlier persistence in telling them there wasn’t a chance in hell that they would.

It wasn’t that they were all that upset by them saying no, but rather the lack of options they had without it. The family sat around the room as Veronica paced back and forth like a madwoman, her hands clasped behind her back.
